How Online Payment Fees Work on Posa (Ghana — Fincra)

For businesses in Ghana whose Posa online store collects payments through Fincra. Here is how gateway processing and Posa’s plan-based service fee apply to successful webshop payments.

When customers pay on your Posa online store (webshop) in Ghana, payments are processed by Fincra. Fees apply only on successful transactions. These fees are for online webshop payments only and do not apply to in-store POS transactions.

Important:

The Posa online payment service fee is based on your current business subscription plan. Fincra’s channel rates, fee labels, and any taxes or levies on processing are set by Fincra and can differ by payment method and product configuration. They may be updated—always refer to Fincra’s official pricing and documentation for the latest details.

The Pay-In and Pay-Out figures below are taken from Fincra’s public Ghana (GHS) pricing; confirm the current values on fincra.com/product-pricing before relying on them for commercial decisions.

1. Fee breakdown per successful payment

Each successful Ghana webshop payment generally includes:

Fincra (Ghana) — payment gateway

When a customer pays in on your webshop, Fincra applies one processing rate per successful payment according to the channel they use (the percentages below are alternatives—not stacked on one transaction). The exact charge line at checkout can still depend on Fincra’s product configuration; the table reflects Fincra’s published Pay-In (GHS) pricing.

Pay-Out (GHS)

Pay-Out fees apply when money is sent out (for example to your mobile money wallet or bank account as part of settlement). They are separate from the customer-facing Pay-In percentages above.

Posa’s share is a percentage of each successful webshop payment, consistent with your subscription plan. Amounts are in GHS.

Premium1% per successful transaction

2. How the pieces fit together

In practice, a successful webshop order flows through Fincra collection first: Fincra applies its processing rules to the payment. The amount available after gateway-side deductions is then used to determine Posa’s plan-based share (for example 2% / 1.5% / 1% for Starter / Plus / Premium on the relevant base amount configured in Posa’s integration).

Your Posa dashboard and transaction history are the best place to see per-order totals and how fees landed for a specific payment. Minor rounding can apply at each step.
